And it seems Torres is not quite ready to give up on the reunion just yet.

Torres will be spending the weekend at Liverpool's training ground observing the Reds' preparations for their clash against Brighton on Sunday.
With a few days free from managing his Atletico Madrid youth side, Torres has decided to use the time to watch Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff at close quarters as he continues his development as a coach.

Atletico Madrid's section, the name given to under-19 sides in Spain, has been rejuvenated since Torres has took charge putting up a challenge to cross-city rivals Real Madrid who are managed by another former Liverpool player in Alvaro Arbeloa.
Though friends and team-mates as players, Arbeloa and Torres have become rather testy rivals with several flashpoints between the two in their encounters on the sidelines.
