Paris Saint-Germain were dealt an early blow as Achraf Hakimi's mistake inside the box allowed Reims to take the lead in the sixth minute at Parc des Princes. A low curling pass from Junya Ito went straight to the Moroccan who received the ball inside the box. Oumar Diakite pounced on it before dispossessing the PSG full-back and setting up Marshall Munetsi who found the back of the net.
The hosts soon took control of the game after the initial setback and restored parity courtesy of Yunis Abdelhamid's own goal. Three minutes later, Goncalo Ramos put his team in front from Lee Kang-in's cross from the right side which the Reims defence failed to intercept.
Towards the end of the first half, Diakite netted the equaliser as he cleverly beat PSG's offside trap. The forward received a quality through ball from defender Emmanuel Agbadou, before going past Lucas Beraldo to find the back of the net.
A desperate Luis Enrique made three attacking changes around the 70th-minute mark as he introduced Kylian Mbappe, Randal Kolo Muani and Ousmane Dembele. The mercurial attacker had just one shot on target towards the end of the match but it failed to trouble the opponent's goalkeeper.

Ivory Coast international forward Diakite was the star of the show for Reims as he did all the hard work for the team's opening goal and then netted the equaliser at the stroke of half-time by cleverly beating PSG's high line.

PSG defender Hakimi had a game to forget as he looked shaky throughout the 90 minutes and was beaten by Reims attackers. The Moroccan was at fault for the opening goal as he dangerously chose to hold on to the ball inside his own penalty box and eventually got dislodged by Diakite in front of goal.
WHAT COMES NEXT?
Luis Enrique's side will now shift to cup competition as they are all set to face Nice next in the quarter-final of the French Cup. Whether Mbappe starts that one remains to be seen. Reims, on the other hand, will take on Metz in a league clash on March 17.
